Objective and objective (错了吧?subjective)are the two fundamental conceptions in the domain of philosophy. Whether something is objective or subjective is unclear even nowadays. The case also gives a rise on a hot debate on the issue whether the observation is objective. To my perspective, the issue is so complex that no exact answer will reach. (the contention held by the speaker is too extreme that hardly one exact(accurate) conclution can be drawn)
Firstly, people observe the objects with their own eyes, so it is unknown what be judged green by people has the same color through a frog or a fly’s eyes. To answer the question, it is not necessary to ask the frog or something others,(else) because the conception “green” is defined by human themselves. So the whole process is based on a subjective sense. What color is it in the pure(real) nature is impossible to be known. And even the conception “color” is defined by the humans. What characters does the “color” really stand for is also impossible to answer. People explain every phenomenon, including the sound, light, etc, based on their own sense but never known(know) what the object is in the pure(real) nature and cosmic. Therefore, the observation is a subjective process. 是不是该这样讲:In many cases, subjective observation or deducing does not necessarily follow incorrect or inappropriate idear and conclusions.
Secondly, the observation is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires. When the people are happy, they tend to give charitable interpretation of events they witness; the eye( eyes?) of the beholder is colored by the emotion of the beholder.(可以这样讲? 是不是该这样讲:One's conclultion and preference is always influenced or even deviated by the ideas, emotions or positions one holds)The same object maybe judged even opposite by two persons. When an individual is glad, he/she may find the weather is good with a shining sun in the sky, but the same weather may be thought as a hot and even terrible one by a person who is sad. From this perspective, the observation is also a subjective process.
However, the subjective observation can disclose something objective. The green (as is defined by humans) reflects something with some character but not others, and all the objects have such characters are observed as green. It is an example to explain that the general law in the cosmic is objective and humans can grasp the objective laws through subjective observation. It is such a strange phenomenon and even a paradox that through a subject process to get something objective. But it does exist in the humans’ behaviors. From such perspective, the observation can be judged in some sense as an objective process.
Discussing so much and for so long, the problem remain a red herring to the domain of philosophy. Descarts, one of the greatest philosophers, claim several decades, “ I think, therefore, I am”. Whether the assertion is suitable for the observation is a heartbreaking and backbreaking task. And the debate will go on and on.
一句the debate will go on and on 就足以使这篇文章to be a failure! You are not on Tintanic! And a Titanic would absolutely sink!!!
