People have to deal with many works in daily life, especially in office time. Some people prefer to finish a project completely and then immerse themselves in another thing. While some other people favor working on several projects at the same time, obviously, it seems that work efficiency in this way is much efficient（higher）. If I have to make a selection between the two kinds of working style. I would prefer the latter for following reasons:
Along with the development of modern society and gradually job market competitive（gradually competitive job market）, workers are always burden with too much stress, in order to survive, they have to enhance their working ability. One of the most important working ability(work ability) is efficient(efficiency), which means accomplishing workload(tasks, 可以说reduce workload,一般不说accomplish workload) as much as possible in the shortest possible time. And there are many methods to improve working efficiency, one of them is working on several projects at the same time through planning working time reasonably. Just for instance, when a housewife wants to prepare for dinner, she could clean vegetables when she is heating up water on electric stove, because there is no need to boil water first and then wash vegetables second. From the case above, we could figure out why it is reasonable that several projects could be carried on synchronously.
Additionally, people always spend more time to obtain extra money to support their lives, however, if he/she could deal with workload in this efficient and reasonable way, he/she could get more money than other people. For example, Mr. Wang, one of my classmates in college, is such kind of person, he took two part-time jobs when he was sophomore, one was an investigator of a website, the other was a tutor of a high school student. Many of my classmates thought he is a workaholic, but I knew he still had much leisure time, as I was his roommate. Mr. Wang manipulated his spare time sophisticatedly and reasonably. He used major time as a tutor, at the break time, he emitted his internet survey by his cellphone online. What a clever boy and sophisticated way of time employment.
The last advantage, which is called sense of achievement, is based on the two points discussed above. We could imagine that picture, a person who(可去掉) with high working efficiency and making more money than other people is always called elite. The sense of achievement always bring about passion for work and life, that kind of spirits could accelerate one's success.
To sum up, from what have been discussed above, the conclusion could be made safely which is working on several projects through reasonable time planning is better than finishing projects one by one.

1月31日 100924NA Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? College or University should offer students more preparation before they start working.

High school student(students) enter colleges or universities in order to get further education, which could make them occupy the favorable positions in future job market. So, personally speaking, I absolutely argue that students should be offered more preparation before they start working when they in college or university. Not only mental preparation, but also the physical practice should be enhanced. The reasons are as follows:
Firstly, in my mind, I think (有in mind了I think就显得多余)the education is also an investment for a individual's career, and from the standpoint of investment, everyone would expect his/her cost could gain reciprocation(互惠这个词不妥，要表达回报不如改成pay back) as much as possible. For example, Mr. Wang, one of my classmates, who comes from rural area with poor family background. His parents are bore(bore是动词不用are) heavy financial burden to support university tuition. If Mr. Wang will not get a good job because of lacking of sufficient academic training or other preparation, the cost of university tuition means nothing, even a great loss for his family as he could use the money for some dicker to support his family originally.
Secondly, along with the development of society, competition of job market is becoming higher and higher. Without sufficient preparation, many young graduates would be blank at the beginning of their career. As what we see nowadays, more and more colleges and universities expand their faculty and facilities in order to enroll more students. More college students means higher competition in future, after their graduate. Actually, many high（high school吧，不然是嗑药的学生了） students just consider the university campus means（equals to更好） heaven, as they just struggle through the high school stage and pass the college entrance examination. So, if college or university does not make adequate training for these students, consequently, their tragic future could be predictive.（这句很不错，学到了） What is worse, the social security would be threatened as a consequence of more and more graduate students fail in finding a job.
Thirdly, university is the ocean of knowledge, every student in the campus is pleased to learn more advanced technique skills, obtain more knowledge such as history, art, music, literature and so on. These demands need school side（好像校方不是这样讲的） prepare a lot of training programs and courses. Not only are these trainings fulfill those young eager minds, but also they are helpful for their jobs hunting. Additionally, it's the university's responsibility.
In conclusion, I believe that adequate preparation should be offered by college or university to students.
楼主功力深厚，真是学到不少，全文很流畅、自然，用词也很好。
只是用first，second会不会不够档次，可以考虑改成to begin with,also,further more,lastly 之类的
