Differences of salaries have become a very urgent social problem and the differences has been getting larger and larger. It will lead to many severe social problems, such as difference of wealth and poverty, striking, economic crimes, and so on. School or college is also the parts of the real world, so there are this phenomenon. The speaker claims that a school or college should pay its teachers at the same rate in all disciplines. I disagree this statement, because incoming of the teacher should be determined by his working quantity, performance as well as his discipline.

Some people think that most schools or colleges are built and supported by the nation, the main task of them is cultivating people for the society and nation from children to adult. So school or college should be a community which has not any influence by the outside economic world, and should pay its teachers at the same rate in all disciplines, regardless of differences in salaries for related fields in the world outside of school. But the whole world is a unity and school or college is an important part of it, which must have many relations with the outside. In economic society income is determined by worker's career, posotion, working quantity and his performance, so income of the teacher should also be determined by such factors. The salaries of teachers must be different since everyone are unlikey to be the same at all of these factors.

At the same time, paying the teacher at different rate will uplevel the education quality. Differences of salaries can introduce competition mechanism into school. The teacher who does a good performance and is loved by the students will get higher income. Everyone will not be a worse person, so he will do his best to surplus others. He should prepare for the class very carefully and try to find good method to teach.This competition will improve the education quality step by step.

However, we should notice that the differences of salaries will lead to severe problems mentioned above. If the difference becomes very large, some problems also accured at school or college. For example, a teacher in a primary school punish a student strictly in order to  do a good performance in the final exam. This deed will do very harm to the little child.

In sum, a school or college should pay its teacher at different rate by his performance, working quantity and other factors. At the same time, the difference should be mantained properly and ensure the healthy competition.

倒数第二段的例子好像不是很贴切，惩罚学生与考试考出好成绩没有必然的联系！
我想是不是可以换成：老师为了工资的提高，批卷子不严，刻意减少不及格率！

改，我们大家当然都知道什么是体罚，可是看卷子的就不一定知道了。改就好多了，If the difference becomes very large,这句话有毛病。 我觉得保留的那段不要用will lead.这要说是必然的，不如说may lead.

非常感谢大家的建议。最后那个例子后来是来不及写了，否则应该写详细一些的。
自己写的时候总觉得用词不是很贴切，可能是单词的用法掌握得不够。
