南洋理工 EEE IE division 招收2012秋季PhD学生，简介如下，有兴趣的可以关注一下。


PhD positions are available in the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Successful applicants will be working with Prof. Gang Wang (http://www3.ntu.edu.sg/home/wanggang) on computational analysis of images and videos. Specific projects include: 1) image and video understanding ; 2) Visual feature representation; 3) images/videos and the Internet, e.g., how to utilize the Internet data to more effectively categorize images/videos; how to better organize images/videos on the Internet. Students with computer vision and machine learning background are especially encouraged to apply.


Prof. Gang Wang is also a research scientist at ADSC (http://www.adsc.illinois.edu/), which is the first oversea research branch of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Successful applicants will have the opportunities to interact with researchers at ADSC (including UIUC faculty members). 这个教授从去年10月份左右就把这则消息张贴到高校BBS上了，和他联系过几次，他还叫我来新加坡了找他谈话去，可是我来了后给他发邮件他又不搭理我了，估计是找到主了

另外，这个教授给的是part-time phd名额，不受NTU 那个该死的40%名额限制，可是现在他就不搭理我
