Research Assistant in Bioinformatics/Software Engineering atthe Department of Biochemistry of the University of Hong Kong
Applications are invited for appointment as ResearchAssistant in Bioinformatics in the Department of Biochemistry, for a period of 1-2 years from as soon as possible.  
The post is in the field of bioinformatics and softwareengineering. Applicants should possess at least bachelor degree in biology or bioinformatics or computer science, with 1-2 years work experience in designand implementation of bioinformatics related tools or software or web server, and strong programming skills in java or c++/c, in-depth knowledge of object-oriented method, algorithm and databases. The appointee should be highly motivated and have a passion to make an impact on research.  He/She will work under the supervision of Dr.J.J. Wang (http://www.biochem.hku.hk/research/jjwang/).
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
