3月5日 100213NA Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People who cannot accept criticism will not succeed in a team.

In the modern society, team work is nearly required in various fields. Nevertheless, when working as a whole, it's inevitable for us to hear different voices. In my perspective, only the person who is liberal to face and accept criticism can ultimately gain the fruit of teamwork.


First and foremost, a team may loose its cohesion because of too many conflicts inside. Proverbially, the mutual aim of a team assembles all teammates. However, if there exists envy, distrust and suspicion, the only approach to the aim could be ruined. For example, in business field, it's common for different factories to join hands which means they will share core technology. Imaging that if the factories loose their trust on fellows, the team will collapse and none of them is able to approach the mutual aim alone.

Another reason why I cast my preference is that refusing criticism will impress teammates that you're hard to cooperate. Furthermore, an obstacle will lie between you and your teammates and no one will support your job. As we all know, the vital factor inside a team is trust. It's hard to proceed work in a team without someone's support and thus plans can't progress.

The last reason for my propensity is that accepting criticism helps the one to amend faults and expand horizons. Undoubtedly, no one is more familiar than the person accompanying you, which means they will find your mistakes during teamwork. In my way studying English, a lot of people are helpful to me, especially my deskmate. I totally believed that my English was awful even my parents wouldn't opposed it. But my deskmate, an excellent student in class, corrected my writing faults and accent in speaking. When facing all the criticism, I chose to change myself which makes differences in my English study.

In the way to success, the capability of teamwork is always more powerful than someone's own effort. Also, the trust between teammates progress a program without any clog. As I have been stated, a person who can accept criticism will find brand-new difference in life. What's more, being modest as a tranditional virtue helps people to acquire more knowledge.
