If children want to do well in school, parents should limit the hours of watching TV program or movies.

Recently, the majority people assert that only should parents limit the hours of watching TV program or movies for children, their offspring will do well in school, however, while others have a divergent view that in order to do well in school, limiting the hours of watching TV program or movies is not a gateway, no matter which angle we choose to consider, the main aim of the controversy is to improve children's performance in school. To be frankly, i believe it may have other way than limiting the entertainment time to children to solve the problem ,because watching TV program can do well to children's study and in order to achieve our purpose parents should set a good example to their children and encourage their children.

First and foremost thing is that watching TV program or movies have many uses besides just recreation. We live in a world that watching TV become essential in our life, watching TV every day not only can children study other basic area of curriculum, it can also broaden children's imagination. For example, my friends jack who will go to united state used to watching the program friends in his spare time. It tell him what the America citizen like ,
how they make friends, how they communicate with others and so on. It really do benefit to him before he actually go to united state. Watching it every day also improve his English speaking skills, because all the characters in this sitcoms speak a beautiful New York accent. It really do well to his engilsh before he really go to united state and he also obtain a full mark in his english research.

In addition, parents can set a good example to their children to achieve our purpose. They can encourage children and work harder in their own works. For example, my friend Jim, his parents used to worked harder than him, even though they are adults, then, Jim was embarrassed and so moved by what his parents do and he following his parents, it's not hard to imagine how serious Jim are about his homework. Finally Jim was so success and to be top one in our final test.

Taken into account all these factors, we may reach the conclusion that we have many solutions to improve children’s performance, watching TV and movie not only broaden the children's horizon but also give inspiration to children.
