Nowadays, machines are getting moreconsequential than other stuff .Some arguments such like "the human mindwill always be superior to machines because machines are only tools of humanminds" are prevailing. Admittedly, just as Caesar IV once said, I see I comeI conquer, we human blueprinted machines, we human made machines, we transcendmachines. However, as far as I am concerned, I agree with the speaker'sargument in terms of painting, science, music and so forth, and I can notconsent with him on the basis of computing, measuring, and technicaloperations.

When we talking aboutworld-famous painting, Van Gogh's canon, the Sunflowers are impressive toeverybody for its strong emotion embraced in the painting and the brightcoloration of it. And when it comes to science, we all acknowledge the fact that it is human , rather thanmachines, create new inventions, make our life comfort and embellish the globe. And machines are just tools for human to make a better place. Insofar, we docreate some kind of machines to do the paintings, but it just turns out somemeaningless scrawl . And, there is no evidence that we have created a machinewhich can play euphony without artificial intervention. In short, human mind issuperior to machine in terms of painting ,science, and music. However, computing, measuring and technicaloperations contradict the speaker's argument. We do can computing ourselves, butif we want to have a more accurate figure, or the computing involvesnanometeral level, we have to use a computer or a calculator rather than relyon ourselves. As well as measuring, in scientific experiments, the demandingabout measuring is so exact that we must turn to some machines for help, andthe solo performance of human can never achieve the relevant jobs. And fortechnical operations such as laparoscopic surgery, ERCP, TUPT, surely need tobe done with some machines besides doctor's effort. These operations are soexacting that even the cut is precise in depth and length. In precise, humanmind is not superior to machines, in computing, measuring and technicaloperations, we human need the help of some machines.
In today's world, in some area there stillhave people in starving, in dying and in lack of health. Under this premise, bothhuman and these man-made machines should work as a team to ameliorate, eveneradicate these phenomena.
All in all, human mind is superior tomachine in terms of painting, science, and music, and human mind is notsuperior to machines in terms of computing, measuring and technical operations. We should analyze this argument under specific discuss rather than unfairgeneralization. |
