6.17  When a new technological devices become available. Some people buy it right away, while others will wait until many have acquired it. Which view do you agree with and explain why

With the development of science and technology, more and more devices such as mobile phones and notebooks became available, meanwhile, the devices’ renew time are dramaticly shorten. Therefore, it just seems like a trend that many people especially young people buy the goods right away as long as they come onto the market. However, if I really want to buy a new device take mobile phone for example, I will wait for at least half a year until many people have acquire it. The reason are as follows.

As for me, the first and most important consideration which I take into account when I go shopping is the quality. Almost all the goods I buy are of good quality, as the goods with good quality can make me have a sense of safety and good service. However, it is high probability that the new devices exist all kinds of quality problems due to unmatured technology or other reasons, even the famous company like NOKIA can’t avoid the problem. If we go to buy the new goods, then we are very likely to buy the problem good. While the goods come onto the market for a period of time and many people have acquired they, although they may not be so fashion than the new devices comes to the market, it at least reveals that they don’t have quality problem. Therefore, it is a wise choice to buy those goods many people acquired.

Apart from the quality, the price is another important factor. when the goods new come onto the market, their price are relatively expensive, even some commodities are so high that most people don’t have the ability to buy them. Therefore, it is not beneficial for us especially students to buy them. But fortunately, after a period of time, the competition between manufacturers become more and more intensely, which result in lowering the price of the commodity. In this case, the original expensive commodities become common goods which most consumers can afford, That is why many people acquire them.
Although someone especial the young people buy the commodities new onto market for the fashion, the most people still always wait and buy the goods many acquired, because the shopping idea not only let the consumer buy the commodity with good quality, but they can also save a great deal of money, both of them are helpful for us to lead a better live. Consequently, If have a choice, I would like choose the commodity come to the market for a period of time rather than the new one.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? One of the ways that parents can help children be ready for adult life to ask them to do a part-time job. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Do you agree or disagree?
  
No one can doubt that parent’s love for their children is the greatest and selfless love in the world. In order to help their children become social elites or lead a happiness life, some parents almost arrange everything for them such as university, job and so on, while other parents give them nothing but ask them to exercise themselves through some methods like doing a part time job. If I have a choice to be a parent, I will choose the latter method to exercise my child.

It seems like a perfect thing that some children’s parents help them arrange everything for them, the children can easily go to a good university and get a honorable job without doing anything and worrying about anything because their parents have already prepared these for them. However, parents cannot accompany their children forever, and always handle everything for them. When one day their parents leave and they have to face and handle all kinds of problems, they will come to realize the fact that it is all the things that their parents have prepared for them result in their sorts of problems.

Although the way that the parents  advising their children to exercise themselves through taking a part-time job certainly let they children experience a lot of difficulties and hardship, it is actually a valuable wealth for the children. Taking a part job can let the children learn much that they can’t get from the textbooks. The hardship of the job can make the children feel that the money don’t come easy and let them have a saving consciousness. meanwhile, taking a part-time job not only provide a good opportunity for the children to develop they working ability , but it also make a chance to let them receive new friends, both of which are necessary preparation and potential wealth for the children’s future success.

In the competitive and rapidly changing environment, we have to realize that our success and our happiness life depend on our hardworking and working  ability  rather  expecting  other’s help, especially our parents help. Therefore, if the parents really want to help their children , leave nothing and let them take a part-time job, only in this way can make the children have a better future.

Movies and television programs should present stories that good people being awarded and bad people being punished.

With the development of science and technology, there are many new things come into our daily lives, especially the advent of the movies and the television, which almost change the life style of the individuals all around the world. When come to the issue that whether or not the story ending must be that the good people be awarded and the bad individuals being punished. Majority of the people approve that the story in the TV shows or movies should has a happy ending, while others who hold the different opinion feel the relatively bad ending is not a bad thing. From the perspective of my point, I prefer the former opinion.

Admittedly, in the rapidly changing and promoting environment, different opinions and ideas are beneficial for the innovation and development of our society. TV programs and movies, which is the product of this age, have the obligation to reflect the reality of our society. Therefore, some people consider it is common thing even if the TV show convey a story which contains the negative information.

However, as the necessity of the people’s daily lives, TV shows and movies dramatically affect people’s deed and thought. The daily talking motif around us usually is the movies and TV shows we have seen before, and the classic lines in the famous talk show in hunan TV gradually become the lines what we are usually. No denying that some violent and sexual movie which have a lot of negative effect may let individuals have a sense of pleasure. Nevertheless, especially for the young people, as they are too young to judge good and bad, which easily result in imitating the deed and thought, eventually lead to criminals.

In addition, the reason I support the story in the movies and TVs have a positive ending is that people need the courage of the media which convey the positive spirit. Nowadays, facing the high pace and intensely pressure of daily life, individuals are trend to lose heart. However, the inspiring story in the movies and the TV shows can make us regain our passion, which have a positive influence on the people especially the young individuals.

To sum up, in my opinion, the story in the movies and the TV show should present that the good individuals are awarded and punished the bad one. Although this form sometimes seems like a little bit boring, it indeed not only play an very important role in inspiring people’s spirit and holding a positive attitude, but it also is beneficial for the development of the society.
