Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

Is the daily homework necessary? This question is discussed more heatedly than before as more people pay attention to education. Some people question the necessity of the daily homework and think it a waste of time. But in my opinion, daily homework can not only help students have a deep understanding of what they learn in class, but also helps them develop a good habit to schedule their time. From this aspect, nothing can replace daily homework and it is really necessary for students to do. I will illustrate this in detail in the following paragraphs.

First, students can have a deep understanding of knowledge if they do homework every day. The reason is quite simple: since everything is fresh in their mind when they do daily homework, they do not have to spend much time recalling so that they can mainly focus on thinking how to solve the problems in the homework. In this way, they are able to understand what the knowledge means and how to use it in a short time. In contrast, without homework, some students may be too lazy to think deeply on the knowledge they have learned and as time goes by they gradually lose themselves in the sea of knowledge. I'll take one of my experiences as an example to illustrate this. Last semester, we took a course named College Astronomy. The professor of that course was unwilling to assign daily homework because he thought it was too cumbersome. As a result, most of us failed in the final exam because we did not know how to apply the knowledge to solve practical problems for lack of daily practice even though we remembered most contents in the textbook. Here we can see, without enough daily homework, our understanding will remain on the surface and deep understanding will not be obtained. Therefore, daily homework is quite necessary.

Second, students can learn how to schedule their time better by arranging time to finish their daily homework. Since students have something to do besides doing homework such as doing exercises, having meals, etc, they have to make proper schedule to ensure that daily homework be finished before the deadline. Students can really benefit a lot from practicing arranging time theirselves. Therefore we arrive to the same conclusion that daily homework is necessary.

As stated above, daily homework is indispensable because of some benefits it brings to students. However, it does not mean that the more daily homework is, the better students can benefit from it. In fact,， too much or too little daily homework can not do as good as proper amount of daily homework to students,as mentioned above. The former one makes them tired on thinking something complicated and they may lose their interests studying while the latter one cannot help students have a deep understanding of the knowledge. Therefore, the daily homework is beneficial to students only when its amount its proper range.

In a word, there is no doubt that daily homework is necessary for students because it brings them some benefits and nothing can replace it. But we also need to bear it in mind that daily homework should neither be too much nor too little.

总结：有几个疑问，想与lz探讨。
1、  文章字数大约500，相对于考试要求的300底限大大超出，不知道您有没有严格计时，这样对打字速度的要求会不会较高？
2、  总的来说，文章的结构得当，也有细节支撑。但是，在第一个论点段，个人感觉有点过长，对于同一内容，有理论，又有举例，会不会有点重复?
3、  最后，在语言方面，我们都存在缺乏亮点语句的特点，希望跟lz共勉。

回答：
1、我一篇文章通常会严重超时，这一篇印象中写了一个多小时。
2、第一段确实太长了，我当时也想减掉一些的，免得让人感觉开头比中间部分还要罗嗦，但后来发现我第二段都写那么多了，减第一段也没什么必要，所以就算了。
