为什么不能是criticize他过重的考虑了结构，而以前的评论家认为结果反而是他的特色，这样也构成相反（puzzling）

LZ  注意前面有个puzzling 啊，   如果是speculation about，   后面应该要提及Jones's novel 在这个方面的特点，      而后面的framework是与structure 对应的

不太明白你的意思。
为什么不能是criticize他过重的考虑了结构，而以前的评论家认为结果反而是他的特色，这样也构成相反（puzzling）

d for its _speculation about_ structure 小说因为对结构的猜测思索而遭到了批评吗？
这种fram work显然不是一种好的结构，是一种没完没了的古板的图解式的一种结构，可以被认为是这个作家惯有的毛病。那么新小说出来以后可以猜测也有这样的毛病--结果却令人疑惑，评论家居然说他的新小说没有结构
