Graduate Student Positions in Cardiac Physiology and Metabolism

Funding is available for 2 new PhD positions in the field of dietary fats and heart disease during diabetes and obesity starting from January 2014.

Prospective candidates should process a background in diabetes, biochemistry and/or physiology and have previous knowledge and experience in metabolism and/or oxidative stress. Candidates will be required to apply for external funding but success in these competitions is not required for admission. Applicants with prior research experience and publications are preferred.

For applicants outside of Canada, arranging for funding (scholarships) from your resident country will dramatically improve chances of favourable consideration.
