不错!Chicago is a great place. You will love it! But make sure that you pay attention to safety if you live off campus. I am sure you will have a blast! Enjoy Price Theory and Income Theory. If you decide to live off campus, I would recommend Regents. It's relatively safe although a bit pricey by Chicago standards. It's a lovely city too. You can get to downtown very easily. It has a good Chinatown as well. Highly recommend that you try out the Chop House for its steak, and maybe the Signature Room for lunch because of the view (the food there is actually just okay). And yes, full funding at Chicago is definitely a good sign. You are right, once you have an offer from Chicago, who cares about the the other rejections! Best of luck in your years to come at Chicago!

Undergrad:07 NJU math. Grad: 11 Chicago mfe
TOFLE: 114, GRE:610+800+3.5
Didn't take any econ courses in undergrad, took 7 first year econ phd core courses at UChicago, with most of the grades A or A-.
Biggest problem is absent of any research experience, which might have shut the doors of other top schools (except Chicago:p) against me.
