Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students are more interested in politics today than before.

Students are new hope, what they learn and put eyes on are important to the world’s new trend. Some positive tone says that students are more interested in politics today than before. According to my own experience, I am afraid it’s not so true.

In today’s world, students carry much more pressure than before. They have to finish much more work to get credits from schools. According to some statistics, students have two subject to handle on average than 5 years ago. The homework already take off most attention and efforts, if they want to learn some politics even some news around the world, they have to spare more time to get these information by themselves. Let alone most students always feel tired after school, what they want to do just have a rest, maybe watch TV or hand out with their friends.

In other aspects, as the entertainment-industry blooms, students are distracted inevitably. Most students are addicted to online games or making friends instead of getting news or learning politics from Internet. More than that, some students escape from school to Internet bar, who will lose their ambitions. If they can’t focus on fundamental studies, how can they spare more attention on further learning like politics? At the same time, the young usually take sport star or singer as their idols not the intellectual or politician. It was a hot topic once, taking examples are important to the young who are too immature to distinguish good and bad. I can’t deny some populate star are inspiring and positive, but most students just get sense of what they wear or use. The young will be easily misled to money worship. What we call “lost generation” is happening today.

Then again, the existing education system does not encourage students to talk about politics, at least in China. What schools teach about politics are just some basic rules not real events analysis. The students are required to write the unique and “correct” answer on their examination instead of their own thought. If you want to get an A, all you should do is to forget what you think and remember all the teacher says. It is not a good environment to make students get interested in politics.

To sum up, even though the world is getting open mind and we acquire news and information are more skillful, there still are other factors to cut down the students’ interest on politics. Including academic burden，not enough spare time, external influence，education system and so on. So it is questionable to say the students today show more interests in politics than before.

Do you agree or disagree following statement? In today’s world, the ability to cooperate well with others is more important than before.

In modern society, it requires more prerequisite to be successful like the ability to cooperate with others, the ability to communicate. If you want to fit in the big atmosphere, you have to cope yourself with the skills.

First of all, works of today become more complex than ever before although there are all kinds of machines. As the human intelligence can not be replaced by others, people still have so many things to handle by themselves. So they have to clear about the division of labor and cooperate with others to save the efficiency. The foreign companies or co-partnership companies serve as good examples, they have different departments maybe some are oversea. They take full advantages of high technology to keep the whole company operate in a good direction like making con-call  or video call regularly. They hire high qualified managers to run the groups which ensure the everyone in groups make a difference and work as a community with close link.
In the second place, learning how to cooperation is a crucial step to socialize. Every individual in the modern society has to face the fact that them don’t live in a vacuum. Since they get to kindergarten age, they are taught to learn make friends with others and finish some tasks with others. Although it’s not a specific lesson, people are cultivated to get links with others during their growing up. Just remember the brainstorm during your course, a stimulate negotiation, or a play of final assignment, which nobody can finish by one person. Cooperation becomes a sign of today’s world. Even the primitive men know the importance of collaboration, let alone the people who lives in the developed society. It becomes a criterion to measure whether an education system qualified or not.

In the third place, people who knows a lot the significance of collaboration often can make good use of his/her network which in turn enlarger his/her network by connecting his/her friends a lot. Friends are those whom you connect a lot, even though you were not familiar with each other in the first place, you can become good friends even soulmates by reinforced communication. While people who has phobia to cooperate with others may lose lots of opportunities and be regarded as indifferent and difficult to get alone. These people often have the feeling of loneness and incomprehension, which will affect their mood and lead to low efficiency.

In a nutshell, cooperation is an indispensable characteristic in today’s world. Everyone should equip the skill of collaboration. Not only because the high efficiency co-work will bring, but also it can bring harmony between different people. Collaboration becomes a standard criterion to measure whether a person is competent with the task in the modern society. So I can’t agree more about the fact that cooperation is far more important than before.
