美国顶尖大学诺贝尔奖排行榜(以获奖时所在单位为准) (2003.10.7.)

此美国顶尖大学获诺贝尔奖数目，采用的是“得奖者当时工作单位”的标准。这个标准可
以避免“什么都算”带来的混淆。

根据此权威数据列表(10/7/2003)，获得10或更多次诺贝尔奖的大学共计9所，其中剑桥大
学是唯一一所美国之外的。

沃尔夫奖（Wolf Prize）

沃尔夫基金会颁奖．R．沃尔夫 1975年设立了沃尔夫基金会，总部设在以色列，其宗旨是

为“促进科学与艺术的发展以造福于人类”．该基金会每年给在化学、农业、医学、物理

学、数学和艺术方面有杰出成就者颁奖，1978年首次颁奖，通常是每年颁发一次，每个奖

的奖金为10万美元，可以由几人分得. 沃尔夫奖具有终身成就奖的性质, 在国际科学界影

响较大，历次获奖者均为著名科学家．

克雷福德奖（Crafoord Prize）

瑞典皇家科学院颁奖．人造肾的发明者克雷福德于1980年捐资设立，目的是为促进瑞典和
世界其他地区的基础科学研究，奖励一些被诺贝尔奖忽视的重要自然科学学科，包括数学
、天文学、地质学和生物科学，生物科学则偏向于授予理论方面的研究，特别是生态学.克
雷福德奖也被视为这些领域的最高荣誉. 1982年首次颁奖. 目前的奖金为50万美元. 它甚
至比诺贝尔奖还难得，因为一年只奖给一个学科.

CRAFOORD PRIZE and Top Universities (1982-2003)
  
Crafoord Prize by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, is a prize
established to recognize fields not eligible for Nobel Prizes.

Holger Crafoord was the inventor of the artificial kidney. Ann-Greta and
Holger Crafoord's Fund was established in 1980 to promote basic research
in mathematics, astronomy, the biosciences (particularly ecology and
evolution), the geosciences and polyarthritis. Only one award is given
each year. The prize is currently $500,000 US and is intended to fund
further research by the prize winner.

The first Crafoord Prize was given in 1982. To date, a total of 36
scientists from 6 countries have been honored, 21 of them are from USA.

世界上可与诺贝尔奖媲美的研究大奖简介

很多人并不知道诺贝尔奖只授予由诺贝尔指定的少数几个科学领域，大多数科学学科都被
排除在外，也就是说，绝大多数伟大的科学家都不具有获奖资格.

诺贝尔奖（The Nobel prize）

瑞典皇家科学院授奖．现在六个奖中的五个是按A.B.诺贝尔（Alfred Bernhard Nobel，1
833－1896）的意愿设立的，他把他在化工方面的发明所获建立了一个基金会，每年以利息
分成五等分奖励在物理学中有重大发现或发明的人、在化学领域有重大发现或改进的人、
在生物或医学领域有重大发现的人、在文学领域中在作品理想主义倾向方面做出杰出贡献
的人、在为废除或裁减军队或为举行或者促进和平会议而建成各国兄弟关系方面作出杰出
贡献的人．这五个奖一般称为诺贝尔物理奖、诺贝尔化学奖、诺贝尔生物与医学奖、诺贝
尔文学奖和诺贝尔和平奖、1968年瑞典中央银行捐资设立了第六个奖，即诺贝尔经济奖．
每年在诺贝尔去世日和诺贝尔基金会成立纪念日12月10日颁奖．和平奖在奥斯陆颁发，其
余在斯德哥尔摩颁发.此奖包括一枚金质奖章、奖金和证书．

国家科学奖章（National Medal of Science）

美国国家科学基金会颁奖．1959年由美国国会设立，奖励在物理、生物、数学、工程、行
为或社会科学等领域有杰出贡献的个人．是美国科学界的最高荣誉. 由美国总统授奖．

瑞典皇家科学院颁奖．人造肾的发明者克雷福德于1980年捐资设立，目的是为促进瑞典和
世界其他地区的基础科学研究，奖励一些被诺贝尔奖忽视的重要自然科学学科，包括数学
、天文学、地质学和生物科学，生物科学则偏向于授予理论方面的研究，特别是生态学.克
雷福德奖也被视为这些领域的最高荣誉. 1982年首次颁奖. 目前的奖金为50万美元. 它甚
至比诺贝尔奖还难得，因为一年只奖给一个学科.

沃尔夫奖（Wolf Prize）

沃尔夫基金会颁奖．R．沃尔夫 1975年设立了沃尔夫基金会，总部设在以色列，其宗旨是
为“促进科学与艺术的发展以造福于人类”．该基金会每年给在化学、农业、医学、物理
学、数学和艺术方面有杰出成就者颁奖，1978年首次颁奖，通常是每年颁发一次，每个奖

响较大，历次获奖者均为著名科学家．

菲尔兹奖章（Fields Medals）

在国际数学家大会(每四年召开一次)上颁发. 1924年在加拿大召开的国际数学家大会上采
纳了在每届这样的大会上颁发两枚金质奖章，奖励突出的数学成果．该次大会秘书、加拿
大数学家J．D．菲尔兹教授后来捐赠了部分经费，故以他的名字命名.按菲尔兹教授的愿望
，此奖既奖励已有的工作，也承认对未来有促进的工作.此奖授予不超过40岁的数学家，这
点已达成共识．菲尔兹奖由国际数学联盟（简称IMU）主持评定. 因数学研究领域的扩展，
1966年决定每次颁发四枚奖章．在各国数学家的眼里，菲尔兹奖所带来的荣誉可与诺贝尔
奖媲美.

图灵奖(A.M.Turing Award)

美国计算机协会（ACM）颁奖．1966年第一次授奖，奖励对计算机领域重要且持久的技术性
贡献．是计算机界最高荣誉奖, 被誉为计算机界的诺贝尔奖.

日本奖（Japan Prize）

此奖系国际性 (the Japanese equivalent of the Nobel Prize)，日本天皇参加授奖仪式
，每年授奖，奖励通过科技发明创造的杰出成就为人类和平与繁荣事业作出贡献的个人，
1985年开始颁奖, 奖金为51万美元.

京都奖（Kyoto Prize）

稻森基金会授奖．基金会由稻森五雄捐资于1984年成立，奖励多个学科中的工作．京都奖
设三个奖项：高科技、基础科学、艺术与哲学.

全球能源奖 (Global Energy Prize)

俄罗斯政府2003年设立，以奖励在全球能源领域做出杰出贡献的科学家. 能源是科技进步
的基础，能源问题是全球性的问题, 设立“全球能源奖”能促进世界能源科技的发展. 这
项国际大奖避开诺贝尔奖和日本京都奖等所包括的科学领域. 该奖奖金为90万美元, 评审
标准与规则欲与诺贝尔奖媲美，参照诺贝尔奖和日本京都奖的产生办法，由国际能源权威
人士以秘密投票方式产生. 评奖委员会由25名评委组成，其中俄罗斯专家14位，另外11个
名额由国际知名的能源权威组成. 该评审委员会的主席职务，由2000年诺贝尔物理奖获得
者、俄罗斯科学院副院长阿尔费洛夫院士担任.
