Some movies are serious ,designed to make the audience think. Other movies are designed primarily to amuse and entertain. Which type of movie do u prefer? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.


When faced with the decision of serious movies or entertaining movies, often I prefer to the latter. In contrast, others may believe that serious movies that are designed to make us think are better. Since entertaining movies allow greater opportunities to relax us, build an active character, and usually enlighten us in a special way. I believe it is the best choice for me.
Entertaining movies can release our strain. It must admired that the quickening pace of modern society creates the pressure, nervous feeling to the people. We need something to relax our mind more than something that gives our much burden in thinking. It is reported that Hong Kong, the people belong there walk in the most fast pace of the world, needs most amuse movies in the world. Because they have to depend on the entertaining movies to make them laugh in order to receive the relaxations. A famous movie critic said that accepting from amuse movies can probably lengthen your life.
Entertaining movies could build your personality that is positive. It is universally acknowledged that someone who likes to laugh all the day may see anything actively. A good comedy can give a ambience that is joyful around you and bring the smile on your face. It can make you in a sunny mood all the time. It is easy to form an active character once u get into the habit of watching comedies.
Entertaining movies will enlighten us in its own special means. Do you remember “Modern Times”, “Forest Gum”, “Nemo” and so forth? Have u noticed that u would know some rights after the laughing? I feel the sufferings of the poor people in “Modern Times”. I don’t think at all the sincerity is stupid from “Forest Gum”. I realize how important the brave is from fish whose name is “Nemo”. Amuse movies are like snow, the softer it falls, the longer it dwell upon, and the deeper it sink into mind.
Serious movies have their own merits. In the context of extreme competitiveness and dizzying social change, many people need to think as much as possible, even in the theater. In this case, serious movies could meet their demands. However, I personally prefer entertaining movies, since the entertaining movies offer so many advantages, it appeals to me as the best choice.
