18. Only by being forced to defend an idea against the doubts and contrasting views of others does one really discover the value of that idea.   

What is the best way to validly discover the value of an idea? The answer is undoubtedly by being forced to defend the idea against the doubts and contrasting views of others. In the long river of human development history, numerous illustrations could be properly used to demonstrate the truism of the answer. Besides that, the approach is, nowadays, widely accepted and fully applied into practise while we are seeking for a detailed and concrete issue.

  Fistly of all, doubts could examine the old ideas and correct the fallacies which were generated in the early days by our ancestors and may hamper the development of science and technology. For instance, the well-known philosopher Aristotle had ever claimed that a heavy object which weighs ten pound falls fast than a light one which weighs one pound and the velocity of the former is ten times of the latter. while all the members in scientific circles took his theory as granted, the famous astronomer and physicist Galileo cast a skeptical eye on it. By throwing the two balls referred above from leaning tower of Pisa he easily drew the conclusion that the two ball shares the same rate and the law of free fall was eventually discovered which vastly promoted the development of Physics and created an profound impact on the scientific history.

  Moreover, doubts can also develop the temporary idea into further altitude which may bring more innovation and advance.Take the drug of vigor for exam, while the drugs first uesd as vasodilator for the patients with heart failure was demonstrated invalidity in the clinical testing period, a fraction of patients refused to hand in the remnant drugs instead of asking for more. There is no more effective operation and efficient productivity in a corporation if we reject to doubt whether the management institution and manufacture method could be improved. There is no more perfect self if we decline to doubt whether we have any improper habit and unhealthy personality which should be rectified later on. There is no more meaningful and beautiful life vision of tomorrow if we refuse to doubt whether our today's life has really paved, with great effort of all members, the way for another coming day.

  In conclusion, the value of an idea derives, in most cases, from the contrasting with the the others' views, whether it is true or false, whether it is created by common persons or by authorities, and then add into it with own doubts and  analysis.

I would like to make a apology to all the Gter firends, esspecially those who have seiously read and commented my issues.
I am sorry that I have not elvauate others issues. And I know that this is mutual-activated forum, and I will do it later.
Because I am now preparing my final examinaitons and have little time get online. I just published several old essays wrote before.
