1. 节约资源。各个地方不需要自己耗费人力物力去编教材、设计课程。

国家采取统一中小学课程的弊端：

1. 很可能是官员来决定统一课程，从而会使得课程设计教条、古板，甚至会禁锢学生的思想。

2. 统一的课程一定程度上是很难实现的，尤其是对于多民族的国家。例如中国，许多民族有自己的语言，强迫少数民族采用统一的课程不利于民族团结

College students should be encouraged to pursue subjects that interest them rather than the courses that seem most likely to lead to jobs.        

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape your position.

1. 可以增加学生学习的动力，从而可以在研究的道路上可以获取更多的成就。

鼓励学生去追求职业指导的课程：

1. 可以提高学生应对职场的能力。本科教育某种程度上是一种投资，需要学生投入大量时间和学费，指导学生在职场上的成功可以帮助学生获得更精彩的人生，也可以帮助学校获取更大的知名度。
