Here be dragons: the mythic bite of the komodo
Throughout of this article, the author is trying to reveal a myth that the komodo dragon in the island of Indonesia can bite much larger animals than it and kill them immediately. A false hypothesis is presented firstly, the reason why the human large lizard can kill and bite other larger preys is because its mouth is full of bacteria produced by the rest of corpse it eats. But Bryan Fry published a new paper and indicated that such bacteria are nothing more different than other food residues in other animals’ mouth. And the real exact interpretation for this myth is that the Komodo lizard is serpent categorically, who is venomous. Furthermore, the author explains why the animal like pig and deer bited by Komodo lizard would die immediately within 30 mins, however, the hugh ones like water buffalo can sometime be alive three more days. Actually the mechanism of the death cause is different for these two types animals. The water buffalo is dead for the wounded foot bite by lizard got infectious in dirty water, nevertheless, the pig or deer is for sepsis.

This is a prose that shares a complex feeling of making a loaf by a man. The author describes the intrinsic process of making loaf elaborately, within which, he emphasizes how the yeast play an important role to conduce to a successful loaf. Much mediation is illustrated by the author inspired by making a loaf, and a comparison between bread made by the ancient man and modern man is made, no big difference exist, and both of them are something related with time. The author enjoys the loaf making, just like he is enjoying his thinking.

陈圣元做了三个练习，错了14题，想死的心都有了。。。。第一天单词还可以，不过总有一些顽固的单词不进入脑袋，再背再背再背，计划明早5点起，这样才能在早晨挤出3小时背新的3个list，果然还是得在无人的状态下背比较有效率
