Issues： Scandals are useful because they focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could.


When it comes to scandals, a great jounce would be talked about these notorious matters, such as Clinton sexual scandal, or the water-door incident. Honestly we can look through these scandals to find darkness corners among officers and politicians, things may go awry, however, if we cannot digest the scandal well.

Scandals is the catalyst to the progress of the society because actions always do better than words. If there was no such financial crisis in Italy and Greece, we are still soaked in the thought that they are among the happiest countries. If there were on such abuse to POWs in Iraq, we still consider the American army as an army with humanity and morality. Furthermore, scandals can touch things beyond our arms. Politicians soliciting more support will suppress it; officers in the army of course will seldom report it; we as an ordinary people can never know that unless the scandals burst out.
Admittedly scandals is inevitable and sometimes good for the society, they can also eclipse the social morale and trust. Penetrating as the corruption scandals is, for example, to uncover the nasty financial transaction between money and authority, it'll also make into a plunge the overall trust in bureaucrats and support to politicians, even the doubt about the benchmark of democracy in the society.

Meanwhile, people will be accustomed to such kinds of scandals if a lot of reports point to the problem. Just like that we don't not care losing one cent after losing one million bulks. Then the society will be full of strange things when we no longer get angry or shocked as hearing about notorious scandals.

Furthermore, public may be misled by scandals contrived to draw attention to a very incident or person.  People want to be famous can combine such "delicate" scandals with facebook or twitter which can attract countless eyes. To make things worse, scandals are shameful but powerful weapons used by one party to besmirch another parties.

Scandals can be the two-bled sword. It may lead to a even worse way although it can be useful and sometimes even necessary for us to uncover the vein of the disgraceful world. Nevertheless, it is inevitable for scandals to exist and wide spread because of human beings' selfish and voracious nature. Scandals can reflect problems but cannot solve them. So, when hearing about scandals, calm down, think rationally and deeply to take a judgement and then action.
