General vocabulary test
The test will take you 30 - 50 minutes online. The result will tell
you how many English words you know.
Identity and results
You will get your score immediately on submitting your test.
Your individual result will not be revealed to anybody else.
General association
Each test word must be associated with the correct alternative. There are 5 alternatives, plus the possibility of not answering. Here is an example:
bicycle peace blackboard wheel forest afternoon leave out
"wheel" is the most general and natural association. A wheel is actually part of a bicycle.
If you feel that you could associate bicycle with afternoon (because you like riding your bicycle in the afternoon), or with peace (because you think your city would be more peaceful if only bicycles, and no cars, were allowed in the city centre), your associations would be too specific and personal and therefore counted as wrong.
Leave out
Don't answer if you are not fairly sure about your association. Wrong answers take away points. Leave "leave out" checked
bicycle peace blackboard wheel forest afternoon leave out
