Leading voices are generally defined as advanced ideas, which differ from traditional ideas the majority hold. It is possible for both types of people (mentioned above) to put forward them. Yet, whether these ideas can survive and succeed or not depends on the degree of commitment to ideas of the holder.

It should be admitted that one who pursues difference from others brings forward leading voices. Out of intention for different ideas, one might offer surprising or astonishing opinions in order to catch others' attention. If he/she is luck enough, his/her idea may happen to be the valuable one and gain others' recognization. Then, leading voices come about in the easy and dramatic way. However, in the most case, the situation is different. The provider might undertake considerable criticism and censure. If lack of enough knowledge and confidence, one, sooner or later, would give up one's ideas. For this type of people, their motivation is just to attract others' attention and increase their own reputation. Their weakness lies in insufficient/ inadequate expert knowledge or belief. Therefore, they are doomed to failure.

On the contrary, only based on firm conviction can leading voices survive and benefit society. Take Heisenberg for example. So revolutionary his idea- Uncertainty
Principle- that the whole world is astonished for this novel thought. His opponents even include the most famous authorities, Albeit Einstein, Erwin Schrodinger, and Louis de Broglie, Had it not been for his strong conviction and profound knowledge, the quantum mechanics would have been not established. It is his keen insight and strong belief that make him, along with the few who has the same ideas, bravely confront challenges from almost the whole world. Another preeminent physicist, Marx Planck, nevertheless, takes the other side when encountering so innovatory thoughts. Due to infirm belief in the concept of quantum, Planck, the father of quantum, unexpectedly objects to the new science in the rest of his life. Clearly, from the two above examples, conviction generates leading voices.


In conclusion, conviction forms the foundation of leading voices. Only those people have a deep belief in their ideas can stand the test of time, while for those who lack of firm conviction, different ideas are just a mean to increase their reputation. Diverse motivations necessary lead to totally reverse ends.

第一次模考好紧张阿,还是没限时成功.
我的思路是这样的,leading voice 一般是领先时代的观点(当然不能偷换概念new ideas),我是想讨论俩类人时有一个共同的基础.提出leading voices 都是有可能的.但是leading voices主要还是来自有信念的人.是不是在第一个body专门论述leading voices are often different ideas.
然后就俩种人分别论述为什么他们能/不能提出leading voices,从动机,基础出发分析原因.这是俩个主体段落.
最后的motivation:一个是追求标新立异,一个出于对idea 的坚信不疑.总结了一下.
introduction那段是不太好,当时没太想好,就紧张的下笔了.
