As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.


In a world of light-speed technology evolvement, there exists a growing concern that while people rely more and more on technological solution, they will definitely lose their ability to think for themselves gradually. However, in the contrary, the technology bolsters human's self-exploration to the unknown mysteries.

Technology does not solve problems itself, but works as a methodology for human intellectual. To simplify the conception, technology can be seen as the discovery of new resources or inventions of tools, instruments, or applications. The application of electricity has led people into a modern era and the derivatives such as the washing machine, air conditioner and so on either promote the efficiency to free more labor for other innovation or improve the living condition for more comfortable environment for thinking.

Accordingly, technology enables people gain more innovation. Once the computer was invented and upgraded continuously, trite but demanding tasks can be handled by computer. Meanwhile, people have more time and vigor to focus on more recondite problems. Take the modeling fuction for example, the crime lab can restore the crime scene in 3D scenario in which the path and angle the gun shot can be simulated providing vital lead for the case solving.

Admittedly, technology is everywhere and constitudes part of people's life. But it is human that create technology and utilize it in aspects of social development. People never stop thinking. First we have telephone to say hello without standing face-to-face, then we throw the wire away by using the mobile phone, in the past few years the so-called "next-generation" smart phone are populized and a variety of its applications are forthcoming.

Despite that the fact that technology has equipped people with faster and smarter means to solve problems, people's ability to think is never to be impaired but enhanced.
