I agree with the author's statement that the arts including painting, music, literature and so on do reveal the inner world of human being,

Arts, as the tool of artists, is the most vivid as well as efficient way of describing the hidden ideas and impulses of a society using the visual, aural and sensorial quomodo. Such as the greatest composer- Beethoven who was entirely deaf by 1819 created many world- famous works including the 9 symphonies and the 5 piano concertos. These outstanding works described the composer's worshipful spirits - never giving up and striving for ever. Such spirits encourage countless people to survive in the bitter world for the connotation of the music calls for sympathism from people, which are the hidden impulses of every people. Otherwise, people can better understand the issue via the development of the music of Rock-and Roll. In the 1960's, a form of music which is separating from all the other traditional music - Rock-and Roll began to prevail in every corner of the American and received the fantastic supports from the young. During that period of time, the young people did not recover from the shadow of the 2nd World War and roily society and were perplexed as well as depresses. Such music full of violence, sex, and depravation just catered those young people's dejected inner world, therefore the whole people and the society were influenced by such decadent music. Generally speaking, a society should accept a kind of much more healthy music such as classical music, nut it is because Rock-and Roll vividly revealed the hidden ideas of a society, and then created a group people who opposed the government and the society in American. What a strong impaction brought by the arts!

On the other hand, another form of arts - literature also has such convulsing power. Because literature uses the method of characters that can go deeply into the heart of people and can exclusively describe the ideas and impulses of people and the society. Here people can analyze another example. Napoleon once said that (and I paraphased): " without Rousseau, without the French Revolution." Rousseau, one of the most torchbearers in the history of French, had created countless works about the revolutionary thoughts that were honored the Bible of the revolution. His thoughts as well as works greatly impressed people and the whole society of that time and impelled the break - out of the French Revolution. Consequently, the strong power of great literatures can respond the demands of people and society, and then bring to the society complete changes.

In addition, the same effect can be achieved via those splendid works of painters. Unlike the music or literature, paintings use the bombardment of visual images to directly challenge the feeling of people. And in front of these supernatural works, words lose the significance. Such as one of the magnum opuses of Picasso, Guernica, which pictures the horrific scene in the war. In this painting, people can see desperation, blood as well as slaughtering and no one can keep calmness when facing this great works. And in this painting, Picasso depicted the fragility of common people, the barbarity of intruders and the expectation of peach of the whole human beings.  

To sum up, no matter which kind of arts, they all portray the inner demands, ideas and impulses of people as well as the society, which is the very values of arts lasting for ever.

文字运用得非常的好，但是论点有一点问题
body1贝多芬的第9和第5交响乐反映社会的什么问题了？摇滚乐反映了人们对社会的不满，同时揭示了社会的一些问题，但是豁免这个部分it is because Rock-and Roll vividly revealed the hidden ideas of a society, and then created a group people who opposed the government and the society in American. What a strong impaction brought by the arts!好像是有一点跑了

一点点建议：
1 艺术是社会的产物，它应当体现社会的价值观（从建筑类，和painting好说明）
2 艺术是阶级的产物，它反映了不同阶级对社会的态度（音乐）
3 但是很多的艺术只是个人潜意识的形态，和社会无关。其实毕加索在他的一生中更换了许多种风格，难道说这种风格的改变是由于社会的改变而引起的吗？ 梵高和勃洛克的抽象作品只是他们个人风格的体现，和社会有关吗？

not all the rock refers to the dark side of the society. distinguish the definition between rock and underground music. Most underground music is the very band that reveal the violence, sex, war,etc.
For instance, rchard max is a rock singer, but his work mostly praise love. such as his most celebrated song "right here waitting"
