PhD Scholarships in composite materials

We invite applications for PhD positions in the upcoming spring or fall 2015 at the University of Vermont (UVM). The research areas focus on composite materials. Interdisciplinary research effort can also be pursued through collaborations between different departments or universities. Students with solid back ground in Mechanics of Materials; Solid Mechanics are encouraged to apply. Preferences will be addressed to candidates with a master degree and related research experience of in situ tensile test  and finite element analysis. Applicants also need to provide GRE and TOEFL test records.
