After numerous times of test, they finally succeeded in manufacturing a plane, which is the prototype of planes nowadays. If they had no idealistic view as that, it is possible that people still had to wait for a long time to travel in the sky. 我觉得，academic field是一个很广泛的词，学术界，而education也是含盖在这之中的，只是一个小的范围罢了。而你所提科研方向也是包含在academic field的一个部分啊。
