University of Zurich？

如题，请问是否有前辈申请过University of Zurich或者有没有同学打算申请的？
我想请问一下，这个学校master项目的出路大概情况。以及，这个学校连英文的online application 都没有，只有德文。这真实神了:L

我看了一下他家ECON和Finance的申请都是国际生要直接寄材料到那边去啊，德文的系统好像是给本校学生用的吧。LZ再仔细看下官网吧，是感觉经常什么都找不到

仔细看下官网吧，是感觉经常什么都找不到 <------ yup....actually you will find basically everything in the official website, in German.........if in English, they are still there, but really take time to find.

online system is in German, and thus for those know it only.
if you don't, fill in the English application by hand, and send all document by mail <-- basically everything non-electronically....

coffee are not necessity.........at least to me (but definitely not for most European)

expecting around / at least 1500 CHF per month for living cost

出路大概情况 depends not only on one's master degree, but also one's previous background, both academic and working.

If one have don't have any previous related working experience, and don't speak the local language, you can imagine how will difficult the case will be, especially for Swiss, which have the close to most strict visa policy in the world. Though one may also consider Germany for working after graduation.

yes, a bit, keeping every other thing constant

1. network different - it is a issue. if the headquarter of a company is in A, it is more likely that they have more employees from a university in A (A = fill in any nearby city)
2. location issue - being in the country make one easier to look for job there (but Germany is a big country, e.g. study in Berlin, but apply for job in Munich, wont have different of studying in Zurich and applying the same one)

I will say, as long as the school is in the region, is good enough to earn you the first interview, the difference is not really significant (not to mention that there're not really that much university in Germany are at the the level UZH).

Given that you are not screened away for interview (this is the use of from a famous university)
it all depends on the ability of the applicant......(and language) [except in marginal case....]
