Ph.D. RA Position in Computer Science (System Track), San Diego State University

There is a Research Assistant position opening for Ph.D. of Computer Science program of Department of Computer Science, San Diego State University (San Diego), starting from August 2015. This is a joint Ph.D. program between San Diego State University and the Claremont Graduate University (Los Angeles). Primary courses will be taken in San Diego State University, San Diego, California, USA. Some courses will be taken at Claremont Graduate University in Los Angeles, which is about 90 minutes driving distance from San Diego.

Preferred qualification:
1. M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related majors.
2. Skilled in programming and software development, e.g. C/C++, Matlab, etc.
3. TOEFL score is 80 or above; GRE (general) score V+Q>300, Q>155 (Graduate School Requirement).

Deadline: February 2015. However, early application is strongly recommended (preferably Oct, Nov and Dec 2014) due to competitive applications.
