最近看到UCD的ECE要求提交SOP还有Personal history statement.
彻底凌乱，自己一门心思在准备SOP, 感觉大部分学校也只要求了SOP，但是这个Personal history statement是怎么回事啊。。。。求解答

另外，是不是我孤陋寡闻，但是我看了很多学校的网站，EE的M.S 只要求提交SOP或者PS,没有说其他的ESSAY,我真的不用准备了吗。。。

In an essay, discuss how your personal background informs your decision to pursue a graduate degree.
