昨晚面食得比较兴奋，所以今早起得很早，是最近一段时间以来最早的一次，惭愧，呵呵！

这次面食经历曲折，俺慢慢道来．面食是该校申请过程中的必须步骤，很早教授就说有面食，可能是电话，也可能是email．我就一直等着．上周二教授来了个突然袭击，亏得我出差在外，没有搞糟．我室友帮我接了电话，室友是英语专业硕士，一口流利美语让教授很吃惊（教授日本籍）．我哥们告诉教授我周末回来，跟他约周末吧．然后教授email我就下周二吧，我想下周二嘛，应该在上海了，就跟教授约定了．谁料我周末一回到上海，老板就说赶快去买车票，周日去北京出差，靠，屁股还没坐热呢，就又跑道北京了，所以面食材料准备的很仓促，只有周六晚上到周日白天一整天的功夫．

我得知此出差消息就立即跟教授联系，说告诉我你的号码，我给你打电话过去如何？周一晚上才收到教授的确认信，告诉我何时他在办公室等我电话及他的号码．他没有直线，还得拨分机，郁闷．

昨晚到一朋友家，按照预定时间拨过去，没人，我就电话留言＂待会儿再来＂．等了５分钟之后再次拨通，终于与教授通话了．

面食问题记得不是很详细，大概如下：

youcc: hello, may i speak to dr. xxx? this is youcc.
P(professor): hello, cc, nice to meet u, i just received ur messege.hehe
youcc: yeah
P: so, i'd like to ask you some question about your application, ok?
youcc: ok, no problem!
P: so you have pay attention to Public Health for a long time, ok?
youcc: yeah,
P: you got a degree from Medical school, then got a master in Exercise science, ok?
youcc: yeah.
P: so you are very interested in exercise science?
youcc: yeah, i'm very interested in exercise and health.
P: ok, i know you got very good Toefl and GRE score, and they are better than many American student.
youcc: yeah,Cause Chinese student are all good at this,hehe(其实我的成绩都刚过申请线，汗）
P: eh, your roommate's English is very good also,hehe,
youcc: yeah, he is English major, so..
P: yeah, his spoken English is very fluent. and what .xxxxx?
youcc: eh, you mean what i am doing now?
P: yeah.
youcc: i'm a xx in xxx now,
P: ya, good. you have no problem in English writing, right?
youcc: yeah,
P: where are u now?
youcc: Beijng,hehe
P: hehe, you travelled so fast, from the south to the north,hehe, did you burn in Shanghai?
youcc: no, i burn in Shanxi, a north province in China,
P: oh, north China, how far away from Shanghai?
youcc: nearly 1,200 kilometers.
P: yeah, a long distance
youcc: yeah
P: Congratulations, I think there's no problem for your admission now, so you must have financial statement to apply for a VISA?
youcc: yeah, it's very important for applying Visa. so what kind of assistantship do you provide for international student?
P: i think you may get a teaching assistant, you may teach Exercise testing, xxxxx?
youcc: ok, i believe i can do it!
P: good. congratulations, we'll give you a letter in a few days.
youcc: thank you very much
P: ok, we have a project in Shanghai now, so i think we can work out it together in the future,
youcc: ok, i hope so.
P: ok, nice talking to you, see u then, bye,
youcc: bye, thank u.

整体感觉教授还是很nice的，语速中等，有个别地方不是听的很清楚，大概意思都听懂了．本以为会问些比较专业的东东，还好，呵呵．

不知道能给我多少钱，期待中，

感觉面食心态很重要，面食前跟朋友在讨论东西方做事的差异．
朋友说西方人都是考虑清楚了才做，目的性很强，先把整个过程考虑完善了才从后往前推该作些什么，全力做一件事情，以最小的付出取得最大的效益．而国人往往是边做边看（我就是，汗）效率比较低．我说反正已经准备成这样了，最后一搏了．该做的都做了也就满足了．感觉心理很平静，也许是皮了，去年面食过两个，现在已经没啥紧张的了．
