申请递交后收到教授邮件，该怎么回复？

Your recent application for PhD study in Dept of Biochemistry has reached my office.   Our research group expresses interest in admitting you as a PhD student working in our research project.   
If you were to take up this offer, you will register primarily under me in the Dept of Biochemistry. Right now, 2 postdoctoral fellows and 3 graduate students in our group are working in related topics.
这算是口头offer吗？想接受offer的话，应该怎么回呢？直接说我愿意take up这个offer就完事了吗？和这个教授完全没有联系过，申请小白一枚，害怕回复不好会错失良机。

谢谢。 给了肯定的答复，教授也来电话联系了。绝对不是学霸，硕士三年就发了一篇中文paper，可能proposal写的比较对教授胃口吧。
