陶瓷一直无果，于是两个小时前收到一封通知降MEng的邮件。
Dear XX;

Regarding your application to our MASc program in Chemical Engineering, we regret to inform you that we have not been successful in finding you a supervisor for your program.

A policy of the Faculty of Engineering is that we cannot accept self-funded research students.  We do however have a course based Master’s of Engineering program available.  This program would allow you to come to the University of Waterloo as a self-funded student and study to receive a Master’s of Engineering Degree.

For your information, I am including a link to our Study and Living Costs Page so that you are able to estimate your costs while you are a graduate student at the University of Waterloo.  https://uwaterloo.ca/graduate-studies/application-admission/study-living-costs.

Please let me know if you will choose this option on or before Wednesday January 28, 2015.  With your permission I can change your application to MEng from MASc.

于是我回复询问是否转MEng以后会马上录取，小米回复：I would petition to have you admitted to the term you requested in your original application which was for the Fall’15 term.

应该就算是AD了吧。问了几个朋友，也说应该基本确保了，就等2月1号截止以后发正式录取邮件了。

已回复同意转MEng，万一去了争取再转成MASc。

P.S. 能否有参加过同样项目的同学说说转研究型的难度如何？多谢了。

是啊，我也很奇怪这个，但是确实是滑铁卢化工系的小米发的。
