沒有良心 is still okay, just don't be 黑心 will already be fine......

Logic = the school charge the tuition (to earn $$), and then give the student good education quality (and good career service for business, further study chances for academic program, and etc.....), that's a fair trade.

but if a program is:
1. teaching undergraduate level material under a master title.
2. increasing supply by offering online perform choice (and without clear classification)
i am rather speechless how come a program with both feature can still have that much applicants indeed.

JHU开了各类商科经济MA，确实感觉录取人不是特别有节操。。尤其听说了400人的FINANCE MASTER项目已经醉了。

这样一看DUKE是FAIR TRADE~虽然placement日趋下滑啊。。。

one of the most 沒有节操 around the world indeed.

even Duke's MA Econ placement is declining, it is Duke - a solid target for recruitment in finance, and with a Top 15 business school; and a very solid program structure, and teaching faculty.

Tufts is another fair choice. weaker overall general reputation (and thus less market value), but have better choice for funding by RA/TA. If those RA/TA are not there any more, the program will still as solid as before, but far less attractive


JHU MSAE is kind of program that make up the gap for those need some econ knowledge, which is suitable for those who are far away from econ, and want to switch field.
UK have things similar to that - Diploma for Graduate. Some other country call it pre-master. Heard that the Australian way is to name it differently (MEcon VS MSc Econ) so thus that will have some difference and sounds like a master also (another example is HKU MEcon).

but all these are not really relevant to this case: compare to UK/EU/Canada, US graduate school have a least strict requirement on the fit between UG and PG, and thus program is simply crap under US system. Not to mention that it is very rare for top university to offer online option (most famous university have their bottom-line even they are in need of $$).

Agreed。。但是大陆本想要读经济的本科毕业生太多了，项目即使不太有节操的话，最终也会有很多人去送钱的，忧伤的现实。

感觉这也助长了很多top universities开设ma把中国毕业生当cash cow的恶性循环。。

tufts要开phd？！。。。确定什么时候吗？。。。那说不定去了tufts既能赶上还给master钱，同时可以选择留校读博诶
