RA positions available in Civil Engineering at UNL

Two Research Assistant (RA) positions are available in Fall 2015 for highly motivated graduate students who are interested in pursuing a PhD (or MS) degree in Civil Engineering at University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL). The students are expected to conduct research in Non-destructive Testing (NDT), sensing technology and sensor development, structural health monitoring, and smart materials for civil engineering structures and materials. Students who are interested these positions please send your CV to Dr. Jinying Zhu at jyzhu at unl.edu, and submit an application to UNL graduate school. Outstanding applicants will also be recommended for fellowship consideration (deadline Feb. 28). The UNL College of Engineering is undergoing significant growth since the University’s recent joining the Big Ten conference.  The Civil Engineering department is co-located in two campuses, Lincoln and Omaha, and free shuttles between two cities are provided for engineering students. Omaha is the home to the headquarters of five Fortune 500 companies, which provide excellent job opportunities to engineering students.

再补充一下。这两个RA positions 是由Dr. Zhu的研究项目提供的全奖资助。
除此以外，有CSC资助的学生欢迎申请，并不受这两个名额限制。UNL跟CSC有合作协议。只要申请人能拿到CSC奖学金，UNL提供免学费。特别优秀的申请者可能可以获得额外资助。
