I was intended 2 join the msf in cuhk but I am curious about you saying esp. if I plan 2 stay in HK. Are you saying the name UST more favorble in HR or employers' eyes in HK? Cuz the curriculum in cuhk really fascinates me a lot whereas I doubt the practicability of the courses in UST.

I guess: UST is only slightly favored.....i.e. no significant different. most likely you will get the same interview, and thus depends on your own.

you don't have to doubt the the practicability of the courses in UST MSc Econ: cause the answer is a clear NO, especially for the theory part (unless you plan to work as a research analysis in central bank or eqv.) It serves more like a solid training in analytical and logical (and a bit quantitative if you have lots of metrics class) rather than things that can be applied directly.

P.S. Just saw that you have a accounting background, and then seems it will be also (or more) reasonable to get a MSF instead of econ as you are not really likely to go into the analytical/quantitative/research side anyway. (and i guess this is somehow a reason that you don't choose the HKU one as they focus more on FE/RM)
and a MSF will be more useful on the corporate side.

yes……the quantitative part in MEcon definately intimidate me a bit cuz with my mathematical backgound, I can hardly imagine me doing quantitative analysis in high profession level. And I did not realize the HKU MFin program is also focus on FE until now. Thanks for your kind note! It is indeed helpful!

请问下，如果是回国就业的话，华威的finance and economics 和cuhk经济那个更好些呢？我本科金融
