2015fall economics 选offer求建议

目前收到了港中文MSc economics, 港科大MSc economics, 新加坡的南洋理工大学MSc Applied Economics的offer，对于港科大和南洋理工之间进行选择有点纠结，南洋理工的学费比港科大便宜，同时还提供条件不错的宿舍供申请，而港科大只能自己去校外租房，并且租房条件并不好。但是如果从读博角度来看的话，不知道大家觉得港科大和南洋理工，哪个更好呢？

嗯~看到港科大这个program里面有一个是Students who want to better prepare themselves for pursuing further studies are given an option to extend one more term to complete a Research Preparation concentration. 对已修的课程有一定要求才能选择Research Preparation concentration，就是不知道对绩点论文有没有要求

不管有没有要求去了就好好努力呗~就算没要求，申PhD的时候还是会用到的。有要求反而能督促自己努力啦~

Vote NTU. cuz NTU's program is also very quantitative and many -metrics in this program. It is suitable for you to apply PhD. and NTU website say like this: 'Students who have done very well in the Applied Economics programme are encouraged to apply for the PhD programme in Economics at NTU.'  so NTU's one has no problem for applying PhD.

And I think maybe you will be not definitely sure that you will choose PhD after you graduate from Msc. HKUST's one is too academic. Especially in industry, 不是那么应用。
However, NTU is applied economics, it will balance academic and career.

PS.although Msc Economics is in BS@HKUST, but the career service @HKUST doesnt include Econ program.( 论坛上有个帖子说过)

From my perspective, the environment( natural & Political ) in Singapore is better than HK.

SO vote NTU.

though I believe HKUST is slightly better, I will still say the post 14 & 15 is really.........irrelevant.
