1. SSE is a good school for Business, in case you want to find a job after the master. BB = bulge bracket = big ibank.
2. Standard master Level = i mean advanced Level indeed. e.g. Romer for Macro.
3. I don't think you question is a stupid one, but indeed a difficult one........I will say the decision is really highly personal, and depends on the preference of country and the Research interest. especially when they are equally cheap/expensive. (I will be able to kick them out if you have PSE/Mannheim (since fee) / TSE, TI, CEMFI (since academics))

谢谢前辈~要是能录了TSE,我就愉快地kick them out啦,不过tse出结果太晚,万一录不上还是要有学上的嘛。 ...
yes, but:
1. UPF have the lowest market value in private market. both SSE and Bocconi are good business school which have excellent reputation in Europe, but not SGPE, which is bascially unknown indeed. This is not a concern if you are 100% sure you will go for PhD.
2. it is one year. If I were you, I will ask for more information for the difficulties for the entranc to the year 2 MRes in UPF first.
indeed similar logic as the comments I made on the Duke one: you pay higher tuition, for a more reputatble university in private sector. Whether this is a worthy Investment or not highly depends on your goal....
