关于加拿大访问签证的翻译件要求: affidavit

单独把这个问题拎出来发个帖, 搜索了一下加版,没看到任何关于这个的讨论, 最近在给lp办理携签探亲, 在cic网站上看到关于加拿大Visitor签证对于中文资料的要求:
其中要求翻译件附上affidavit, 这个貌似很不好搞啊, 还要律师之类的第三方见证人在场,然后宣誓什么的. 大家有最近办探亲过了的吗? 这条难道可以无视?  以前visitor签证需要提供这东西吗?

Translation of documents

Unless instructed otherwise by a CIC employee, all supporting documentation must be:

in English or French; or
If it is not in English or French, it must be accompanied by:

- the English or French translation; and
- an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
- a certified photocopy of the original document.
