An undergraduate degree from a school with no name is definitely not enough for me.
A master may not help that much, but a decent program with a good name will surely create more opportunities/possibilities in the future, no matter国外国内, phd or industry.

maybe I am wrong, but this is what I think so far

lz的背景Rochester MSF绝对有戏，不过罗村MSF现在也不好找工作。其实现在的MSF都不太好找工作，必须要位置好的学校才有戏。lz可以考虑一些名气不大但是地点超好的学校，比如CUNY这种。说实话，名校确实很牛X，但是名校的MA通常作用有限。在名校和地点之间选择，如果是想在美国工作，地点优先，如果是回国的话绝对是名气优先。
