The so-called strong nuclear force, one of the fundamental physical forces of nature along with gravity, electromagnetism, and the “weak” nuclear force, is responsible for the cohesion of atomic nuclei, which are composed of protons and neutrons, collectively known as nucleons.。。。。。The three quarks in each nucleon are bound together by the strong force, which operates only on quarks and on gluons (short-lived particles exclusively existing to “carry” the strong force between quarks) and which unlike the other fundamental forces grows with increasing distance, albeit over only a very short scale, as if the quarks were linked by stiff springs.

在第一句话中，可以看到强力，弱力，以及gravity, electro..都是atomic nuclei 吸在一起的原因。所以，排除D, 因为是原文，不需要infer.
第二句话中，每一个nucleon 中的三个quarks 都是由强力吸在一起的，而强力只在quarks gulons 上运行，它跟其他基本力（即：弱力，gravity, elctronmag）不同，它随着距离增加而增加。-----> 由此反推，弱力随着距离增加而减少，答案E.

后面那段我有注意到，但我错误地没有把weak force 归到fudamental force 里面

这题算Manhattan题目里比较简单的，就考了这一句话
