Multiple fully funded Ph.D. and/or M.S. scholarship opportunities are available starting at Fall 2016. Successful candidates are expected to carry out research in one or more of the areas: smart grid (power system security and/or control), control, machine learning and cyber-physical systems. We are particularly interested in highly-motivated students with a strong research background and capability.

Ideal candidates are expected to have:
1. A master degree in EE/ECE, or related areas. Students without a master degree will be enrolled into master program automatically
2. Strong mathematical background in modeling and analysis
3. Hands-on experience in simulation, such as Matlab/Simulink, PowerWorld and others
4. Good communication and writing skills will be a plus
