The appointee will primarily work on the development of mobile communication and location-based information systems. His/her detailed duties include (i) implementing mobile communication and location-based information systems; (ii) assisting the supervisor in liaison with project stakeholders for system requirements; (iii) evaluating new technologies and solutions to mobile and ubiquitous computing systems; (iv) deploying software systems and mobile applications and ensuring smooth server operation.

Applicants should have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, and has certain experience in mobile or server-end application development. Good knowledge of MySql, Java, C, HTML5, Android and iOS is an advantage. The appointee should be responsible, self-motivated, and a good team player. He/She should be willing to learn and adapt to emerging technologies in mobile and ubiquitous computing. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of 12 or 24 months. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
