I don't know exactly why, but I have been in blue for so long a time.
when I was a freshman, I always think about the future, and it makes me feel exited. However, being a sophomore, I began to feel the old saying--"it is easier said than done." Tied and lonely, being too sensitive and under heavy pressure, sometimes I feel there is no exit for me, no way out to breathe.

After my gre test, on my way back to school, I thought alot. why the  whole preparation cannot be as delightful as its very beginning. why I have to suffer these negative emotions? why my religion become something like an obstacle to my fight for the greater good? Can I persist being such a crazy guy? persist to be a paranoid? Shall I be more realistic. like Larry Ellison, give up my persuit of my major and do whatever makes money?

I think everyone has kinds of problems like mine. some of us choose to ignore them. some of us choose to change themselves to better cater for the needs, demands and challenges. However, the point I am trying to make is that, whatever you life may be, nomatter what you feel about your life, remember to be positive &active to your life. Being depressed cannot help, but an active attitude toward life will make things easier for you to handle with, eventhough sometimes it is just your personal feeling. :rolleyes:

I am now under heavy pressure, the final exam is driving me crazy, but I will not think too much about it, unlike the preparation for gre, I think I am try something new. I am changing my wicked life into a more active one.  :cool:

It depends so much on specific situations. For example, I major in chemistry and want to be a faculty member in a higher institution in the future. Without a Ph.D? Holy shit.

Not only the degree, but also the experience.

There are so many differences. So BE YOURSELF----- that is be brave enough to fuck up those "miracles". They are not necessarily for you. One must has his own ideas --- Larry has his idea of dropping, and I have mine not to follow that guy, not even thinking about him.

When I was a sophomore, I didn't have so much confusion as you. I was just studying day in and day out, without any complain about my heavy pressure.

However, choice should be made while you're in the crossroad. Once we made up our minds, we should stick to it no matter what happens.

Wandering is useless~ Just persist in what you want~

Sometimes i even curse myself for what i have done and just live in a life without patience and understanding for others and myself.

Iam a definitely egoist! I always think in that way. God damn it!

I won't, I'd rather die.
however, the purpose I am starting this topic is sharing my personal expeirence of handling with pressure and uncertainty, which is keeping urself in an active and positive mood, "activity is power".
as for larry, I think at least he is the one who dare to do sth. he thought to be right, and whether droping out of school or not is of little importance, coz he really tried to accostum himself to colllege since he changed his univ. for 4 times. :rolleyes:
