I've picked it up for my future English name, because I think the former name "Jenny" is too common and sounds like a name of a country girl~

But who can tell me the pronounciation of the name?~ I looked it up in some dictionaries, but all haven't this word~ It comes of Latin~

hehe. It leads me to recall my ludicrous method used when I begin to learn English at junior scholl. I writed down Chinese characters beneath English words and phrases so that I can remember the pronounciation.
For example, I marked 跳舞 under the word "twelve". Laughable, I find many people possess the same experience.

Without conducting any investigation, I audaciously guess the answer of your questions as 瑟琳娜.

You mean ----- si'lina, the stress is in the second syllable?~

No matter joking or not, I'd really prefer to prounce like that, if I can't find a certain answer~

I also know that there is a singer named Selena, because when I input the word in any serch engin, I can find much information about the singer~

I think I would probably listen to some of her songs in the near future~
As long as you've said that her song is beautiful, I'm quite eased by your comment, because I don't like to have the same name with someone who has bad reputation.  ;)

I've figured out what the correct prounciation is~!

This afternoon when I serched for the songs of the singer named Selena, I found a website where I could listen to her songs online~ It was a live concert album~ While I was listening, I heard someone welcome her to the audience~ Although it was not spoken in English, I could hear clearly about the name~
Cheers~ It's -----si'lina ! Just as what I hoped~!

And I also found that one song of hers "Dreaming of you" was my favorate when I was in middle high school~! However, at that time I didn't notice much of the singer, because I got known of the songs by an audible magazine "Music Heaven", which was very popular among western pop fans and in which songs was not sorted by the singers.

So till now, I have another reason to love my future name "Selena"~!!!
