美国LLM申请对国内学历的要求

楼主注意到美帝法学院LLM申请条件中对申请者现有学历的要求类似，例如：

西北大学要求Applicants to the LLM/Kellogg degree program must hold a first degree in law from a university or college whose law degree requirements are comparable to Northwestern's.

加州伯克利要求a bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution。

哥大甚至要求Applicants from law schools in all other jurisdictions must hold a first degree in law to be eligible for admission. A degree in a field other than law, even if followed by a master’s degree in law, generally does not suffice for admission.

楼主双非英语文学学士，中国政法大学法学硕士（学术类），外资律所工作两年，是否已不满足前述对现有学历的要求？还能够申请美帝LLM吗？求大神指点迷津。

感觉哥大不行哎，但“generally”这个词感觉有中文“原则上”的意思。其他两个可能可以用硕士。完全是自己想法。建议楼主还是发邮件问一下小米

感觉哥大那个也不是不行啊。。学硕可以argue成类似JD的吧
同意楼上这种事情还是问学校比较方便

JM是first degree in law，非法本+国内法学硕士这种还是仔细算算，最悲剧的是，录取了，钱花了，结果不能考bar。。。。（法律硕士一般都没问题，但是非法本法学硕士一般都有问题）

请问lsac评估认定了first degree in law也还是有可能不能考bar是吗？

请NYBLE认证。。。。LSAC和bar，类似全国法律硕士专业学位教育指导委员会和司法部的关系。。。。互不统属

如果已经完成ABA认可的LLM，我理解可以根据Rules of the Court of Appeals for the Admission of Attorneys and Counselors at Law § 520.6(b)(3)的规定满足NYB的eligibility requirements，在国内读的法学学位的credit hours什么的意义不大了吧。具体规定如下：

§ 520.6 Study of Law in Foreign Country; Required Legal Education
……
(b) Legal education. The applicant must satisfy the educational requirements of either paragraph (1) or (2) of this subdivision.
……
(3) An LL.M. degree shall be satisfactory to qualify an applicant otherwise meeting the requirements of subsections (b)(1)(ii) or (b)(2) to take the New York State bar examination provided the following requirements are met: ……（下面是对LLM课程设置的具体要求，我没有做过全面调查，不过我理解大部分ABA认可的law school的LLM项目应该能够满足有关要求）
