The following appeared as an editorial in the student newspaper of Groveton College.
'To combat the recently reported dramatic rise in cheating among college and university students, these institutions should adopt honor codes similar to Groveton's, which calls for students to agree not to cheat in their academic endeavors and to notify a faculty member if they suspect that others have cheated. Groveton's honor code replaced an old-fashioned system in which students were closely monitored by teachers and an average of thirty cases of cheating per year were reported. The honor code has proven far more successful: in the first year it was in place, students reported twenty-one cases of cheating; five years later, this figure had dropped to fourteen. Moreover, in a recent survey conducted by the Groveton honor council, a majority of students said that they would be less likely to cheat with an honor code in place than without.'

The editorial in the student newspaper of Groveton College is problematic.They get the conclusion that the honor codes diminished the cheating cases numbers.Well,is there really some relations between the honor codes and the dropping numbers of cheating cases.Is it just an occurance or closely related?According to carefully analysis,we can see the conclution that the great effect of honor codes on diminishing the cheating cases was just an occurance and completely nonsence.
At first, when there was dramatic rise in cheating amony college and university students,we should think more carefully about the reason for it.Now that there
was dramatic rise , is there any matter with the old-fashioned system in which students were closely monitored by teachers .The cheating cases number was smooth
before under the old -fashioned systems ,when there was dramatic rise ,there may be
other reasons ,such as there were more students than before,or the difficulty of the tests was hard to stand for many students ,or the teachers monitored the students more strictly,there were many reasons to cause more cheating cases in colleges and universities,so it is really a big problem just to attribute the reasons of rising cheating cases to the old-fashioned system.
Second,does the horor codes really helpful?Such as what we have just mentioned above the cheating rate may keep steady at any circustances no matter we have the hornor codes or old-fashioned systems.Then when will there be drastic rise
in cheating ?Let me have a careful think. What will happen when there are more new students than semesters before?What will have happen when there was a foodball
competition then accidentally the college students had the exams ?What will happen
when there was an earthquake happened just the students were having there exams?
What will happen when the teachers want to catch more cheating students then?
Then answer is easy ,the cheating cases will be more and more than before,but it is not for the old-fashioned system.
So,the editoria was really a problem and needs carefullly writing.

1. 我不是什么高人。
2. 这次帮你改的主要是语言上的，结构上根本没法改，只能重写。首先一般issue和argu都是以5段居多，其次首尾两段要做呼应，你的末段太短，最好能提出改进点。再次body两段用的理由几乎相同。这道题你应该把采用honor code前后cheating rate的不同对照着来写，而不是割裂开来。还有作弊下降的理由有很多，不止于你所提到的那几个。最重要的是理由提出来后，要适当加以分析，而不是简简单单一个问句了事。
3．建议以后写argu前先看一下已有的范文或是提纲，比如猴哥的还凑合。然后自己也先列提纲。任务比较艰巨。反过来说，一旦掌握了argu的规律，你的提高也是惊人的。
4．发贴之前先把文章贴到word里改到没有红绿线再贴上来。段与段之间空一行。
5．我就猜到会是这样的回帖。还是把标题修改一下，免的招口舌之灾。哪里都hierarchical, clannish, 寄托也不例外。你的口气也确实很让人不爽。相信你会吸取教训的。

我是刚刚开始集中准备作文，也是刚刚开始给别人改文章的，真没见过这种高人

我是小卒，凑巧改到的作文也是同辈之作，虽然有的语言和逻辑水平也很平平，而且有人(比如我)限于水平也不容易提供太大帮助
但是凡看过的段落我都会认真改，凡麻烦别人的时候都会懂得谦虚恭敬。而且，大家都是什么态度，你四处逛逛也不难看出。
