Msc and PhD positions at U of A

If you are interested in applying a M.sc. or a PhD position in Canada, you are welcome to checkout our research group at: http://www.esdlab.mece.ualberta.ca/. Our group is working on three different fields: proton exchange polymer fuel cells, cooling tower and fly wheels. The group itself is highly international and has a wide diversity in cultures. Our current group members are from: Canada, Spain, China, India and Russia. Please feel free to contact me at: jzhou7@ualberta.ca to have a better understanding of the research group. In particular, our group has a good connection with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. If you are interested in pursuing a post-doc position later, our group might be a good choice as well. I am sorry for not using Chinese as my PC has no Chinese input.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the major of the applicant is not really restricted to mechanical engineering as our group has applied mathematical, chemical, electrical and mechanical engineering backgrounds. The group is under mechanical engineering department. The reason behind it is that we have two teams: experimental team and software development team. For students who are interested in software development, it is better to have a background of c++, solving PDEs and etc..
