关于waterloo推荐信

作我推荐人的教授把waterloo的电子申请链接发给我了 让我自己填好 我想请问一下如下的这些问题是什么意思：
1. How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?
3. Please identify the academic group with whom you are comparing the applicant:

第一个是说你认识申请人多久了，你们什么关系。比如the applicant has been supervised by me for 2 years
第二个是说你回答的其他问题里的百分比都是跟那个group比的，比如all the undergraduate students I've taught （in 5 years，10years）这样。
