求助！！！已下offer，但想申请延期一年入学，应该怎么argue

各位大大们，我拿到了英国兰卡斯特的两个专业的offer，但是我想延期一年入学，我应该以什么理由argue呢？（如果我说要去做一年的志愿活动，校方会让我提供证明么？如果说我要去做一年的专业相关的实习，学校会同意么？）
学校方面会撤销我的offer么？
如果同意的话，明年入学之前还会有重新的审核么？
还有，我的学费是现在交，还是明年入学之前交呢？
