We are seeking a PhD student to join a bioinformatics group based at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Engineering, University of Manitoba and Data Science Platform of George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation.

The successful candidate should have a thesis-based Master's degree in broadly defined life science. He or she should have solid background in cancer biology or human genetics. The successful candidate should have a GPA >3.5 of 4.5 (University of Manitoba scale). The position will be funded $20,000 per year for 4 years.
